Not all donors have extensive regulations detailing how you must manage their funding. In the absence of specific donor requirements, Its upon every funded organization to determine how best to implement their projects in a responsible manner to guarantee intended outcomes and overall Project success.


This course covers best practices for managing core components of implementation, including procurement, financial management, personnel, subawards, reporting, and donor relationship management. Topics will be addressed across the proposal, negotiation, start-up, implementation and closeout stages, to identify key decisions at each phase. Each topic will be examined from the perspective of senior leadership, program staff and operational staff using real-life scenarios.


This program is tailor made to further enhance the knowledge of individuals involved in managing or handling of finances of various donor funded projects. Reference will be made to some of the donors such as World Bank, AfDB, BADEA, ADB, IDB, GIZ, etc.
